The Pennsylvania woman asserts in her complaint (Prendergast v. Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corp., 13-00450, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania) that Bayer did not adequately reveal dangerous Mirena side effects, such as the risk of ectopic pregnancy and the possibility of device embedment, according to the Bloomberg story published January 28th.
