Minnesota, Illinois, Arkansas, California, Florida and Louisiana are the top states for Stryker hip lawsuits in federal district court, according to court documents. The Rottenstein Law Group LLP, a hip implant law firm that maintains a Stryker lawsuits website, reports that there are only about a dozen states in which no one has yet filed a Stryker lawsuit that was consolidated for pretrial efficiency into what is called a “multidistrict litigation.”
There are currently about 400 Stryker hip lawsuits in the MDL in U.S. District Court in Minnesota, according to court documents (In re: Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation; MDL-2441, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota). More than a quarter of those lawsuits are from Minnesota with Illinois and Arkansas following close behind.
