The 600 Stryker lawsuits consolidated in New Jersey Superior Court are moving along as scheduled, according to court documents. The Rottenstein Law Group LLP, which maintains the Stryker Hip Replacement Lawsuit website, notes a recent order in which the court is directing parties on matters relating to discovery (the trading of relevant information between parties), including the scope, parameters and timing.
Judge Brian R. Martinotti is overseeing the “multicounty litigation,” which is a consolidation of statewide cases for pretrial efficiency. The Oct. 23 order covers the above-mentioned areas, in addition to other matters such as mediation, according to court documents (In re: Stryker Rejuvenate Hip Stem and the ABG II Modular Hip Stem Litigation; MCL-296, Bergen County Superior Court, New Jersey).
